Dr. Ashley Seiver, OTD, OTR/L
Everyone has things they want or need to do. With the many demands of modern life, having support can be a powerful way to honor your aspirations. My work centers on helping you rediscover momentum through a lens that honors your history, current capacity, and how you naturally process the world—viewing these as traits to understand, rather than problems to be fixed. I believe that the brain is capable of incredible growth and that creating a foundation of emotional safety can open up new possibilities for how you engage in the world.
To build this foundation of emotional safety, we pair immediate, practical support with slower, more sustainable healing. In our sessions, we can tackle overwhelming tasks together in real time for quick relief when you feel stuck. At the same time, we’ll gently explore how past experiences shape your daily life. It’s often these old, unprocessed emotions working under the surface that keep us feeling paralyzed. Once we bring light to those connections, we can safely process and let go of that weight—using art and creative expression when words just aren't enough.
I specialize in supporting individuals navigating trauma and grief, young adults discovering their unique paths to fulfillment, and parents striving to raise resilient children. My practice is guided by my degree in occupational therapy and the conviction that we find our way back to ourselves through engagement in “occupations”—the meaningful activities that define our lives. My work is equally informed by my own history of trauma recovery and by my experiences working with children, educators, and survivors of complex trauma. I strive to create a warm environment where you feel accepted and understood. Wherever you are on your journey, it would be my honor to help you discover greater meaning and satisfaction in your life.
