Frequently Asked Questions

1How much do sessions cost?
Individual sessions cost $165. We offer a limited number of sliding scale slots on a first come first serve basis. Check with us to see if there are any sliding scale spots available.
2Do you accept insurance?
We are private pay only, which means we do not accept insurance. We chose this model because it allows us to focus on providing the care you need, tailored to your specific situation and free from the constraints set by insurance companies. While we do not bill insurance directly, we can provide you with superbills for counseling services. These superbills contain the necessary information for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Please contact your insurance provider to understand your out-of-network benefits and the process for submitting superbills.
3How long do sessions last?
Sessions last for 50 minutes. The frequency and duration of treatment varies between each individual client based on differing goals, progress, and evolving needs.
4Where are you located?
Our office is located in the Rittenhouse Square neighborhood of Philadelphia. We also offer services remotely to anyone in the state of Pennsylvania.
5I'm nervous about my first session! What should I expect?
Your first session is essentially a conversation in which you and your therapist will get to know one another. Your therapist will help prompt you to describe what brought you in and will support you to share about yourself and your goals. You will be welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with, and to ask questions to your therapist as well. During your first session, your therapist may also help you to fill out your intake paperwork and review practice logistics.
